Dr.Jones serves as Chair and Assistant Professor in the Clinical Psychology program at Pacifica Graduate Institute and is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Jones earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica in 2016, following the completion of a master’s degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy from Pepperdine University. He presently oversees a group private practice with locations in Chicago, Illinois, and Pasadena, California. His clinical interests encompass contemporary psychoanalytic theory and practice—including relational and intersubjective approaches—Jungian psychotherapy (such as individuation, persona, self, and shadow work), multicultural psychology with a focus on ethnoracial and ethnocultural identity formation, creative imagination, expressive arts, and humanistic theoretical models, including Maslow’s concepts of self-actualization and transcendence.
