Claudia Feldman, PhD is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst. She is the clinical director and a core faculty member at Wright Institute Los Angeles (WILA), a training site for pre-licensed therapists, and a low fee community clinic. At WILA she oversees a group of 20+ pre-licensed therapists, and manages an average caseload of 350+ patients. She is committed to train and inspire new therapists to develop a psychoanalytic way of understanding a person in their totality – from their genetic psychological inheritance to their gender, sexual orientation, social, cultural, and ethnic identity. She is determined to making high quality psychoanalytically informed treatment accessible to a diverse and low-income population. At WILA she teaches “Introduction to Psychoanalytic Techniques”, and “Case Formulation”. In addition, Dr. Feldman maintains a private practice in West LA.
