Agnes Regeczkey, LMFT, PhD, is a Marriage and Family Therapist and Adult, Child, Adolescent psychoanalyst. She has been working with families, children, adolescents, and adults in Palos Verdes, California. She is the director of BriteMinds Learning Center and continues her research and training as a Clinical Associate for Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis at the New Center for Psychoanalysis, Los Angeles. Dr. Regeczkey provides educational consulting at BriteMinds Learning Center in Palos Verdes for over 30 years. She is a volunteer Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry & the Behavioral Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine of USC Los Angeles.
Dr. Regeczkey's academic research includes psychoanalytic history, interfacing perspectives of neuroscience and psychoanalysis, and how psychoanalysis may be used as preventative and therapeutic treatment modality for young children and their families. In a joined authorship with Joseph Aguayo, she published, “Small Group Collaborators and Adversaries in the London Kleinian Development,” Psychoanalytic Quarterly, July 2016. She is a coeditor with Joseph Aguayo and Lia Pistiner de Cortinas of the book “Bion in Buenos Aires: Seminars, Case Presentation and Supervision” (Karnac, 2017). Presenter at the IPA 50th Congress in Buenos Aires, July 2017. Agnes Regeczkey and Joseph Aguayo are co-directors of the Regional Bion Symposium (RBS).
