Bio/Background:

Glenn Mowbray, MFT, Psy.D. is a former radio host, popular speaker, and faculty member in the Adult and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Programs at The New Center for Psychoanalysis in LA, where he teaches Klein, Bion, Infant Observation, and Clinical Case Conference. He teaches 3rd-year psychiatry residents at UCLA, and also teaches at the Newport Psychoanalytic Institute and Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He is on faculty at WILA (Wright Institute of LA) supervising interns. He teaches, consults and practices psychoanalysis internationally over Zoom with Chinese psychotherapists and CAPA students. He has chaired presentations of papers and presented his clinical cases at the 2009 and 2011 International Bion and 2014 Frances Tustin Conferences, and at the 1st International Iranian Congress on Psychoanalysis in 2013. He is the 2013 recipient of the Elyn R. Saks Scholarship for research into schizophrenia and other psychotic states. Dr. Mowbray maintains private practices in Beverly Hills, Long Beach, and Newport Beach, where he helps high-risk, post-hospital/residential/rehab patients move forward with their lives in an intensive outpatient psychoanalytic holding environment.
