Lucky

7:30 PM, June 15, 2018

Lucky follows the spiritual journey of a 90-year-old atheist and the quirky characters that inhabit his off-the-map desert town. Having out-lived and outsmoked all of his contemporaries, the fiercely independent Lucky finds himself at the precipice of life, thrust into a journey of self-exploration. The character Lucky is a realist who goes nose-to-nose with other townspeople, unwilling to join their spinning of webs of social illusion. Harry Dean Stanton's powerful, truth-telling performance is at turns heartbreaking, uplifting, hilarious, and inspiring. It is also psychologically sophisticated and intriguing.
