Dream Analysis Workshop for Therapists
March 30, 2019, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Are you interested in working with dreams, yours or your clients', but don’t know where to start? This three-hour course provides the fundamentals of dream analysis from several different psychoanalytic perspectives, including Freudian, Jungian, and Gestalt, as well as hands-on experience to begin your pathway to interpreting dreams. Following this preliminary explanation, participants interact to evaluate their own or clients’ dreams, and demonstrate how the theories work in action and in session. Note that anonymity and confidentiality is required in and outside of the classroom.
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
- Explain how dreams are analyzed from various theoretical perspectives
- Compare and contrast multiple perspectives of dream analysis
- Apply multiple perspectives to actual dream analysis
