Van Dyke DeGolia, MD is a child, adolescent, and adult psychoanalyst and psychiatrist in private practice in West Los Angeles, California. He is a graduate of the Adult Psychoanalytic Training Program at the Los Angeles Psychoanalytic Institute and Society and a graduate of the Child and Adolescent Analytic Program, a Senior Faculty member, a Training and Supervising Analyst, and a Child and Adolescent Supervising Analyst at the New Center for Psychoanalysis (NCP) in Los Angeles. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine, where he supervises Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellows, and is a past Co-Dean of Training and past Chair of the Child and Adolescent Analytic Program at NCP. In NCP’s Adult Psychoanalytic Training Program he teaches yearly courses on Winnicott’s Developmental Theory and Advanced Relational Theory.
This informal event typically meets on the first Tuesday evening of each month and is intended for psychology/social work graduate students, psychiatry residents, and mental health professionals interested in the psychoanalytic training programs at the New Center for Psychoanalysis.
- This meeting takes place on Zoom. Please join us at 7:45 pm. We will divide into break-out rooms for an informal hello and chat. Then at 8pm the presentation will begin.
- The presentations typically include clinical case information. Due to the confidentiality of the material presented, we request attendees leave their video ON during the entire presentation so we can monitor who is in attendance. Those with their video off will be removed from the meeting.
