Gerald Jay Aronson (husband, father, grandfather, good friend, psychoanalyst, and psychiatrist) passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022. 

He was among the "Menninger Transfers" in the 1940s and 1950s who swelled the ranks of psychoanalysts in Los Angeles, and went on to become a highly valued instructor, supervisor, and significant presence in the Los Angeles psychoanalytic community. He was beloved by his colleagues, students, supervisees, patients, and friends.

Dr. Aronson died at the family home where he had lived for 62 years. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jan Aronson. He is survived by his three daughters (Lisa, Ellen, and Ruth) and two grandchildren (Emily and Joshua).
