Jill Model Barth, PhD, will present "Shivering in the Rain."
Jill Model Barth, Ph.D. is a psychologist/psychoanalyst in private practice in Beverly Hills, CA.
Dr. Barth is the Dean of Psychoanalytic Training at New Center for Psychoanalysis (NCP). She is a Training and Supervising Analyst and senior member of the teaching faculty of the NCP and the Los Angeles and the Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies (LAISPS).
At the Wright Institute, Los Angeles, Dr. Barth is a clinical supervisor and faculty member.
She has lectured nationally and internationally on the following topics: The supervisor as an analytic third, dream analysis, intergenerational transmission of trauma, transference and countertransference dilemmas and countertransference enactments.
Dr. Barth is a chapter contributor to Conundrums and Predicaments in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis: The Clinical Moments Project, (Eds. R. Tuch & L. Kuttnauer, 2018).
This informal event typically meets on the first Tuesday evening of each month and is intended for psychology/social work graduate students, psychiatry residents, and mental health professionals interested in the psychoanalytic training programs at the New Center for Psychoanalysis.
- This meeting takes place on Zoom. Please join us at 7:45 pm. We will divide into break-out rooms for an informal hello and chat. Then at 8pm the presentation will begin.
- The presentations typically include clinical case information. Due to the confidentiality of the material presented, we request attendees leave their video ON during the entire presentation so we can monitor who is in attendance. Those with their video off will be removed from the meeting.
