Sidonie Freeman, PsyD, will present "The Ugly Truth."
Dr. Sidonie Freeman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalyst in private practice in Beverly Hills. She is an Adjunct Professor at The Chicago School for Professional Psychology, Los Angeles, and maintains a Supervisory position at the Wright Institute, Los Angeles. Dr. Freeman is President of The Foundation of LACPA, the non- profit and benevolent arm of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association, as well as Chair of the Admissions Committee at the New Center for Psychoanalysis (NCP). She has lectured and presented on topics such as Envy, Working within the negative transference, Dream interpretation, Creating boundaries/not barriers, Managing conflict, and Parenting. She will be co-teaching in the Adult Psychoanalytic Training Program at NCP in 2022.
This informal event typically meets on the first Tuesday evening of each month and is intended for psychology/social work graduate students, psychiatry residents, and mental health professionals interested in the psychoanalytic training programs at the New Center for Psychoanalysis.
- This meeting takes place on Zoom. Please join us at 7:45 pm. We will divide into break-out rooms for an informal hello and chat. Then at 8pm the presentation will begin.
- The presentations typically include clinical case information. Due to the confidentiality of the material presented, we request attendees leave their video ON during the entire presentation so we can monitor who is in attendance. Those with their video off will be removed from the meeting.
