Film and Mind Online: Palm Springs

June 18, 2021, 7:00 - 10:15 PM

Join NCP as we take our Film and Mind series online!

images/palm-springs_img.jpeg(1 hr, 27 min) This 2020 film, directed by Max Barbakow, is not your father’s time-loop flick. On one level the film is a romantic romp about resistance to emotional closeness, and the process of “becoming” in relationships. On another level, the film is a gently disguised portrayal of a psychedelic journey into multidimensional psychic space, exploring relational growth. On any level, Palm Springs is an exceptionally entertaining film that raises important issues for today’s psychotherapists.

*Streaming is available with Hulu only. Hulu offers a free one-month trial subscription. Viewers wishing to not be charged, must remember to cancel their subscription before the auto-renewal charges in one month.
