A space opera uniquely suited for psychoanalytic discussion. Will the city of Thebes/ errr…the whole Earth be annihilated?  Futuristic Father - Son Relationship Explored!  This film uses outer space to explore inner space.   Space pirates instead of bandits on a road? Starring Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones, written and directed by James Gray.

Come discuss a wonderful foray into the Oedipus/ infantile conflicts/ attachment theory played out in the setting of a future that explores the endless void on outer space as a symbol of the oceanic feeling of the unconscious.
