Bio/Background:

I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychoanalyst and psychiatrist in private practice in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles and am a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Training and Supervising Analyst at the New Center for Psychoanalysis. Presently, I am also the Chair of the Curriculum Committee at the New Center. In the past I have served as Co-Dean of Training and Director of the Child and Adolescent Analytic Program at the New Center and am an Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine. I am particularly interested in working with young children and families, teenagers, and adults who struggle with relationship issues. At the New Center I teach yearly courses on Donald Winnicott’s Developmental Theory and Advanced Relational Theory in the Adult Psychoanalytic Training Program. I especially have extensive experience treating and supervising others who treat people suffer from narcissism, trauma, dissociation, and Borderline Personality Disorder.
