Bio/Background:

Dr. Tuch has been in practice for over 40 years. He is a Training and Supervising Analyst at both the NCP and the PCC, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA, former Dean of Training at the NCP and is presently Head of the Scholarship Section of the Department of Psychoanalytic Education (American Psychoanalytic Assn.) He has published extensively in the areas of interpersonal relations and clinical technique. His papers appear in all three of the major psychoanalytic journals and his work has been translated into four other languages. He is the recipient of the Karl Menninger Award for Psychoanalytic Writing, the Edith Sabshin Award for excellence in teaching, and the Leo Rangell Award for psychoanalytic writing. Dr. Tuch relishes the privilege afforded him by patients who take the risk of entrusting him with their innermost demons.
