 m to his 2020 multi-Oscar winner Parasite, follows Mickey Barnes, an “
 expendable” worker on a space colonization mission. Mickey is cloned a
 nd regenerated each time he dies. The film explores identity, self-worth
 , class inequality, dehumanization in capitalism, and what constitutes p
 ersonhood when multiple versions of the same individual coexist. The fil
 m offers a deep space voyage framed by time, desire, and the unconscious
 , where beauty finds ways to still yet thrive in the face of obscene soc

 n titled, “The Pervert’s Guide to the Museum.” Seth is a guest rev
 iewer for the journal Psychoanalysis Culture and Society, and in 2026 wi
 ll additionally be published with Oxford University Press inside their f
 orthcoming volume, Videogames For Mental Health. As an interdisciplinary
  scholar, Seth has curatorial and archival experience from working for b
 oth The Autry Museum of the American West and the California Botanic Gar
 den. He is a member and a past delegate of the California Forum of the L
 acanian Field— the west coast anglophone chapter of the international 
 school of Lacanian psychoanalysis in Paris.\n\nGerald Perman, MD, disti
 nguished psychodynamic psychiatrist, is a Clinical Professor in the Depa
 rtment of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at George Washington Univer
 sity, Washington DC. He is a member of the DC Lacanian Forum, past presi
 dent of the American Academy of Psychodynamic Psychiatry and Psychoanaly
 sis, editor of Capital Psychiatry (www.dcpsych.org), and has a telepsych
