The Brutalist (2024) is directed and produced by Brady Corbet and stars Academy Award winning Adrian Brody as the Jewish- Hungarian architect Laszlo Toth.  Set in post WWII Philadelphia, the film revolves around evocative themes such as the fundamental dilemmas between the pursuit of success & wealth and artistic integrity, dissociated self-states and trauma-soaked bloodthirsty revenge. Psychoanalytic cinephiles will love excavating the rich symbolism in The Brutalist.
