DESCRIPTION:Clinical Moments is a monthly series in which a critical clin
 ical moment is an ongoing analytic treatment is presented and followed b
 y group discussion. Each month the program features a different analyst 
 presenting a case, and the group thinks psychoanalytically about the mat
 erial.\n\n  \n\n-- Barnet Malin, MD, will present "the Dream of the Un
 derground Operating Room." --\n\nBarnet D Malin is a psychoanalyst and p
 sychiatrist in Santa Monica, CA. He earned a BA from Brown University, a
 nd an MD from Columbia University. He served his medical internship at C
 edars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, his psychiatry residency at UCLA, a
 nd took his psychoanalytic training at the Los Angeles Psychoanalytic So
 ciety and Institute. He is senior faculty and a Supervising and Training
  Analyst at NCP and the Psychoanalytic Center of California, a member of
  APsaA and the IPA, is board certified in psychiatry, and certified in p
 sychoanalysis by APsaA and the ABP. He is an Associate Clinical Professo
 r of Psychiatry at UCLA, and teaches at the UCLA Geffen School of Medici
 ne, the UCLA psychiatry residency, and at NCP and PCC. He has presented 
 original work locally, nationally and internationally, and has authored 
 and co-authored professional papers and books. His forthcoming book, Que
 stioning Bion’s O Concept, will be published by Routledge.\n\n \n\nTh
 is informal event typically meets on the first Tuesday evening of each m
 onth and is intended for psychology/social work graduate students, psych
 iatry residents, and mental health professionals interested in the psych
 oanalytic training programs at the New Center for Psychoanalysis.\n \n\
 nPlease note the following:\n\n* This meeting takes place on Zoom. Pleas
 e join us at 7:45 pm. We will divide into break-out rooms for an inform
 al hello and chat. Then at 8pm the presentation will begin. \n\n* The p
 resentations typically include clinical case information. Due to the con
 fidentiality of the material presented, we request attendees leave their
  video ON during the entire presentation so we can monitor who is in att
 endance. Those with their video off will be removed from the meeting.\n\
