SUMMARY:Film and Mind Online: Palm Springs
DESCRIPTION:-- Join NCP as we take our Film and Mind series online! --\n
\n \n\n(1 hr, 27 min) This 2020 film, directed by Max Barbakow, is not
your father’s time-loop flick. On one level the film is a romantic r
omp about resistance to emotional closeness, and the process of “becom
ing” in relationships. On another level, the film is a gently disguis
ed portrayal of a psychedelic journey into multidimensional psychic spac
e, exploring relational growth. On any level, Palm Springs is an excep
tionally entertaining film that raises important issues for today’s ps
ychotherapists.\n\n-- Watch the trailer --\n\n*Streaming is available wi
