A detailed review of the literature related to transference and counter-transference, from its earliest origins in Freud to the progression of more recent inter-subjective and self-psychological viewpoints is the impetus for this course. Following the introduction, Dr. Karbelnig concisely explains what is meant by the term counter-transference and how it can be applied to the psychoanalytic process.
